This is a really cool website [+]. They basically take police scanners, record the good parts, and put them online. The one that really interested me, however, was a (100% real) sighting of Osama bin Laden at the walgreens on Churn Creek. [+] Yeah, in Redding, the town I live in. THE Osama bin Laden. Okay, while the sighting may not have really been him driving away in his 4 door suburban (that's a direct quote from the sound file), it IS a real recording from the police scanner. Yes, Redding cops DID investigate a sighting of America's #1 most wanted criminal. At walgreens. What is this world coming to?
