According to this slashdot article, the recording industry uses us music downloaders more than we might think. The company mentioned above, BigChampagne tracks what songs we download and SELLS this information to nearly every major record label. What do they do with this info? Use it to decide which songs to put on the radio in certain areas (and poof! record sales are up for the CD). Is that f*cked up or is it just me? And I thought that these were the guys who were against music downloads the whole time...
