lights, camera, action!

For the past week I have been involved in a four-hour-a-day training course that is going to (hopefully) get me certified as a tv studio guru. I have been rotating positions along with my nine other peers in the class from cameraperson, audio, video, floor director, graphics, actor, and director. We have done a number of six-minute productions as practice for our final, which is today. We're talking 30-minute production with real people which is going to be aired on real tv. I don't care if it is just community access television. I am going to be the friggin DIRECTOR!!! I just hope my multitasking skills are up to snuff when it comes time to actually start the filming. We go live to tape, so there is no editing if anyone messes up. And I am the one who is telling who to do what and when. But no pressure. Deep breath. This is going to be fun. I am terribly excited about it, but I am nervous as hell. Every position is as important as any other, but if I mess up, everyone messes up in a sense. We shall see. I am going to get a VHS or DVD copy of our half-hour final I am told, so that might find it's way onto the internet with hosting from ANTHS.org. We shall see.
Anywho, I'm out. Chemistry is next.
