LOTR 3 (ROTK)
I have just spent the past three and a half hours or so indulging myself with the eye candy known as Lord of the Rings. The third and final installment of the epic trilogy came out last Wednesday and I have just now taken the time to go watch it.
All I can say is "I'm tired". And not just from sitting in the broken movie theatre seat. From watching the movie, I mean.
What an eyeful. That movie is one of the best I think I have ever seen. Wow.
I mean, wow. How do you find words to describe something like this? Peter Jackson laid out an awsome ending for the two movies I already know and adore.
Which I hate.
In the back of my mind I keep wanting to think that next December we will pick up where we left off and continue the journey through Middle Earth and beyond, but I know that it won't happen. The only hope I have of watching such masterful work again would be if Mr. Jackson decided to develop the prequel to the trilogy, The Hobbit. We should be so lucky.
Anyway, go see it. I won't tell you what happens, for I do not think I could describe it if I had a hundred thousand words.
Go see it. And if you already have, call me, and we can both go see it again.
