more rants

I finished the class at the TV station last Friday and it went pretty smoothly. We filmed two half-hour shows, so I had plenty of practice at it. I am really glad I went but I missed working at Op-Test. When I went back for the first day in two weeks yesterday, there was plenty to do, including putting together the very first Thermal Control Board for testing. Basically, this was "my" project for the past couple of months. I was the one who worked (with Dan) to design the circuit, layout the PCB, order the correct parts, and now, put it together. I finished the soldering on it yesterday, and now I am laying it all out on an aluminum sheet along with a power supply board stolen out of an external SCSI drive. So basically, with any luck, we are going to pump some power into it, hook it up to a PC and see if it really does work.
You know, the reason I initially went to blogger to post right now was to rant about school and how much I hate it, but I am pretty sure that if you read this with any regularity or if you know me, you alredy realize that I pretty much hate school right now. So I shall spare you the unnecessary words so that you may click on a "friends" link on the left to go read somewhere else :)
