UK cell phone tracking? is America next?

I stumbled across this company which is able to - for a small fee - track people via their cell phone. While it only tracks users who consent their phone (for instance when a mom wants to track their kid) to their service, it is the firt such company that I have seen that does it. Quite amazing that they can do it, and market it.

And the question is: Is America next?

they already can do it My cousin works for cell com and those new picture phones and phones that work off of the same system can be easily tracked and they plan to make it so you can track people in much the same way europe is already doing. but what comes next
