welcome home (?)
I packed up my things yesterday before I went to work. All my clothes in the suitcase, hid the computer under the bed, and iPod in hand I walked with Josh out to his mom's suburban for the trip to San Jose - A place I am still learning to call home.
Couldn't find my house key in my room, so I had to break in through the side door. There was nobody else at home, my mom in Palm Springs, my dad was out with my sister. I dono, it's just so weird coming home to a house I've only been to once. I can find the bathroom without thinking now, and I am fairly confident as I find breakfast this morning, but ... it's still weird.
I went with my sister to go see Ray last night, and it was definately worth it. It was really well done, and I have no doubt in my mind Jamie Foxx is up for an oscar for that one. If you want to see the effects that heroine can have on not only your life, but everyone around you, go see this movie. It's good. (the music is great too!)
So, more details of this week:
I am driving to Redding on Tuesday for the ANTHS dinner at 6PM (or 5?), spending the night somewhere, going to "the cabin" and then driving back on Wednesday, in time to get ready for turkey day on Thursday. Thursday night, after supper, our family is driving over 17 to our rented beach house for the remainder of the break, just to be taken home by Josh's dad on Sunday.
And to think I *still* woke up early this morning...
You left the 22nd word out in your description "stud", nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
aren't i a card.
you have to fill me in about the blogging thing-i really dig it. are you a model too? i was just curious b/c of your super sensetive contemplative cover photo for your home page.
anyways, we (me and laura) were just talking about how much of a stud you are (translation=good worker) and she told me that you had a blogg, which is something that i am entirely interested in.
Peaz on your journey,
ps: i'll be in santa cruz from friday till sunday-maybe we could get coffee or something-although i don't know where your "beach house" is.
cheers,
dave (dragonboy) sutherland
peace out man.
