fire in whitney hall

So there was a fire in Whitney Hall less than an hour ago, so I figured that many people would not appreciate the last post that I made. I don't have many details now, but I will update this page when I hear morea bout what is going on.

the end of something beautiful

Well, yesterday was closing day up at Mt. Shasta. What does this mean? No more snowboarding until next December. All that I have to tie me over for the summer is the possibility of wakeboarding out at Whiskeytown if I can get a hold of someone with a ski boat.

Talk about depressing. I mean, I know I will be waxing my board at least every week this summer in anticipation.

Oh, summer. I wish it was just here already.

spring fever

I know, I know, it's the middle of the night, but the last week I have been getting the worst spring fever. And then daylight savings time didn't help. I mean, it wasn't dark until past 7:30 tonight, and it is only going to get later. The weather (aside from today) has been getting warm and summerlike. And school doesn't end for another month and a half. shit.
I don't think I did much homework last week (althought I did get thursday off - naturally I got trashed and went snowboarding hungover), and I have a feeling it is going to be very difficult to concentrate the rest of this semester. I don't know, just more late games of ultimate that can be played without worrying about toes freezing off and the such, not to mention the whole "it being dark" thing...

Whatever. What happens happens. I will pass all my classes, and that's all I really care about right now. Oh, and the pond skim is this Saturday; one of the best - and worst - days up at Shasta. It is super fun to go and watch people try to skim across the freezing water, and more often than not fail, but it also marks closing weekend, which means the last time I will go snowboarding this season. And then I have to wait until summer until I can go wakeboarding. heh.
