My car had a bad day on October 5th, 2003. Yeah, I was driving on a dirt road for unknown reasons when I hit a stump that had been partially cut off. It's like they cut down a tree that was in the middle of the road, and they left about 6 inches above the ground that had not been cut. Anyway, it was there, and I didn't see it (or didn't comprehend it) and drove straight in to it. Kinda sucked. The funny part was that it my odometer (the thing that says how many miles the car has gone) read, get this, 200,008. Happy two hundred-thousandth birthday, civic.
I went straight into it and it took the underside of my car by suprise, especially the bar that holds the steering rods and a motor mount. It's not a big deal, I mean, the only effect I have noticed in my car is that it steers a bit to the right. Plus I am going to try to go to a pick-and-pull when I can to get a new part. John (Stassia's future stepdad) already told me he could help me replace it. So booyah. Stop laughing. Please.

This is a pic of the underside of my car. Note the mangled part that wasn't mangled before. Yeah, that's where the stump hit it. Or I hit the stump, either way.

Another shot of the underside of my car. Note how long the scrape is before it actually hits the bar and the car comes to a dead stop...

Here you can see from up above what happened, and where it hit.

Thank you Jack. This is about when he threw a *lit* firework right on the hood of the car while we were cruising down I-5. Um... yeah, it went off in my face while I was driving. Note the little circles where each part exploded.
