I walked out to my car like any other normal day. I was followed by some friends, and we were going to hop in and go to Dutch Brother's to grab a coffee to keep us awake for the long night of homework we all had ahead of us. On the way towards my car, I opened the passenger side door for the ladies accompanying me, and notice that the glove box is open. Funny, I don't remember leaving it open... and did I unlock the door with the key, or was it already unlocked?

I couldn't tell. Then I realized that the contents of the dash were strewn about over the front seats, and the spare key to my dad's car was jammed in the ignition ... something was up.

I walked around to the driver side door and opened it, and sat down. The center console was jacked ever so slightly about an inch and a half from the body of the dash. I simply stated: "Someone jacked my stereo."

I walked around and opened my trunk and saw this:

There was obviously something missing, where the wires used to plug into, ya know? Yeah, They took everything I had in my trunk. Sub, Amp, Speakers.

I assume they got in through the back window, because the lock is has lateral motion as opposed to the typical vertical bar style lock:

And the back vent that I left open...

The thing that really pissed me off was that they tried to jack my deck as well. They ripped the center console out about an inch and a half in their futile attemt to grab it. Thankfully, they couldn't so the deck and both 6.5" infinity speakers I have in the doors are still there. That leaves the bare minimum so I can still listen to the radio.
Here's a picture of the center console they kinda jacked:

When all was said and done, I lost my 12" MTX sub in a box, both 6x9 inch infinity 3 way speakers, in boxes, and my MTX amp. They also stole my MagLite which REALLY pissed me off. I mean, that had many memories that went along with it...
They took some other small things I had, like shop rags, but nothing else of too much value. They came, they saw, and they conquered as the case may be. I know a guy in the car stereo business, so if I decide to replace any of it, I can hopefully get a discount (::cough::Jack::cough::) but not until I get a really good alarm system.

Well, I lost a lot of stuff, but the car is fine (other than the console, but that can be fixed if I wish...). The spirit of ghettomobile lives on...
